The 2024 NACS Show brought together leading industry experts, innovators, and participants from around the world, offering an exciting opportunity to showcase the latest products, solutions, and innovations. Held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, this year's event left a lasting impact on everyone in attendance.
Invenco by GVR was proud to highlight our commitment to excellence and innovative solutions in our booth, which was organized around three key themes this year: unified payment, remote management and productivity. Here are a few memorable moments from our time at this incredible event!
Keeping You Connected
One standout moment of this year’s show was our introduction of the Hub, a cloud-based solution that brings together devices from Invenco by GVR, Gilbarco Veeder-Root, and Veeder-Root into a single, unified platform. This solution allows for smooth device control and optimization, providing a consistent and user-friendly experience. As a result, managing c-stores becomes more efficient and streamlined.
Cutting Down Hardware Costs
Invenco by GVR’s Passport Enterprise allows retailers to run Passport on existing competitor hardware without the need to replace all their equipment. This allows retailers to say goodbye to constant (and costly) hardware updates and hello to an easier way to keep their systems up to date.
A More Convenient Way to Order
At this year’s show, we introduced three new ways for retailers to offer their customers a more convenient way to order food. Using Invenco by GVR's latest technology across POS and Payment, they now can offer customers the ability to place a mobile order, drive up to order their food, or order at the pump while they fill their tank.
Total Payment Ecosystem
Retailers at this year’s show learned that they can run Transact EPS directly on FlexPay 6 devices, giving them a dispenser level Electronic Payment Server (EPS) strategy that offers them industry leading uptime, and the ability to perform upgrades one at a time for uninterrupted card payments. They also saw the FlexPay 6 indoor payment terminal and learned about the benefits of a shared L2 kernel with the outdoor payment terminals, which supports the single L3 certification the ecosystem creates.
Much-Enjoyed Happy Hour
This year, our Passport partners Stream and Acumera and our financing partner Patriot Capital organized a happy hour on Tuesday evening in our booth. It provided a fantastic opportunity to network and discover more about our latest innovations.
Catching Up Over Coffee
One of the most exciting parts of this year’s show was our coffee bar, Gilbert’s Nitro Cafe. Booth attendees were able to place their custom order using Passport Express Ordering kiosks, and then enjoy some wonderful coffee provided by Javo.
Expert-Led Conversations
This year, we introduced our in-booth Speaker Series, featuring industry experts who shared valuable insights on key topics such as 'Uncovering the Hidden Costs of Payment’ and ‘Maximizing Your Value with Retail Media’. For those who signed up, all presentations are now available through our Insider Pass for on-demand access.
There’s still time to sign up for this year’s Insider Pass if you haven’t already! You’ll gain access to all the videos from our inaugural Speaker Series, and so much more!
The Bottom Line
The 2024 NACS Show was a great success, showcasing engaging booth discussions, innovative product launches, and detailed demonstrations of our full range of solutions.
