Auckland, NZ – Invenco, a global provider of secure payment processing and customer engagement solutions, has been ranked 6th in the Technology Investment Network’s (TIN) 2021 EY Ten Companies to Watch list. This is Invenco’s fourth year on the list, having also ranked in 2018, 2017 and 2015.
The Technology Investment Network is a private company established to facilitate the growth of New Zealand-based technology companies. The EY Ten Companies to Watch list includes New Zealand companies with the largest revenue growth annually.
Invenco’s 122% revenue growth is evident via substantially expanded markets and an ever-growing workforce. Invenco opened two offices in the US this year, and has added team members in every office location, including Auckland, Malaysia, the UK, Canada and the US. Additionally, Invenco has expanded their product offerings and completed several brand certifications, as well as a major project with Asia-based retailer, Petronas. All have contributed to the company’s growth.
Tim Benbow, R&D tax leader at EY, states “The New Zealand tech sector continues to grow quickly, outpacing growth in the overall economy, and has seen more than $200 million of growth funding being raised so far this year. This is also true for the EY Ten Companies to Watch, which have all had an incredible year seeing average revenue growth of 25.6% and staff increase by 3,000 globally.”
For the Invenco team, John Scott, CEO, notes that “despite a difficult economic environment due to the pandemic, it’s exciting to see that New Zealand has remained resilient in the growth of our technology exports. I look forward to Invenco’s continued progress alongside the companies within the Technology Investment Network.
